MILFORD HIGH SCHOOL: 45
The JV Cougars held their first home game Friday, January 3rd against Milford losing 45-40. The JV Cougars stayed in the game for the entire 32 minutes, but couldn't shake off the holiday break rust with sloppy turnovers and an out of synch rhythm. Zach Burgess showed great hustle and aggressiveness on both sides of the court and chipped in a team high 8 points. Alex Heck chipped in 4 and played great, tenacious defense. Against his former town of residence, James Cook played one of his best games in a ConVal uniform playing especially well on the boards.
The JV Cougars next travel to Kearsarge on Wednesday, January 8th and return home to redeem themselves against Kingswood on Thursday, January 9th in a rare back to back.
