Well Played, but a loss nonetheless, Berlin 4, Griffins 1

The Griffins played very well against a solid, well-disciplined Mountaineers team. Once again the Griffins held them scoreless through most of the first period, allowing only one goal with 3:04 left. A lucky bounce and a power play goal in the second put Berlin up 3-0. They added one more in the third before Preston Kirby rifled a shot past the tendy with 5 minutes left in the third period.

Cole Turner played outstanding, stopping 40 of 44 shots.

Griffins play again Wednesday at 7PM at New England College against John Stark-Hopkinton.
