The Cougars traveled to Goffstown to take on the Grizzlies in their mid-season matchup. The Cougars came out strong and controlled much of the 1st quarter, with seniors Laramie Wilson, Hayden Kaltsas, Makennah McPherson and junior Ella Morris all taking shots on goal, and narrowly missing out on a goal with the ball literally on the line, but not crossing over! There was then once again a lot of back and forth play in the 2nd quarter, but the Grizzlies were able to sneak 2 by the ConVal defense and goalie with some great passes and deflections to go ahead 2-0 by the end of the half. The Cougars kept the pressure up, with Laramie Wilson taking a few more shots on goal in the 3rd quarter, but the Cougars were unable to convert their opportunities into goals, and Goffstown was able to get another goal. The Grizzlies did not let up, and were able to get 3 more goals in the 4th to come out with the win, defeating the Cougars 6-0. Senior goalie made 32 saves on the day, and both senior Abbey Shumway and sophomore Abby Peters both had a defensive save during the game. The Cougars have a few days off from competition before taking on Lebanon at home on Tuesday, 9/27. 

JV then took the field against the Grizzlies, playing another hard fought back and forth battle, but this time they were able to come out on top 1-0 with a goal by junior Lucy Jackson of an assist by sophomore Maya Bennett. Sophomore goalie Ronia Foeking made 5 saves on the day to secure the shutout for the Cougars.
