The Cougars made their way to Merrimack Valley for yesterday's game. The game was a lot of back and forth play throughout the 1st and 2nd quarters, where the score remained tied at 0-0 going into half-time. Although the Cougars had some breakaway opportunities with seniors Allie Hodgen and Makennah McPherson taking shots on goal, they couldn't quite sneak one by the MV goalie. Merrimack Valley was able to get on the board in the 3rd and 4th quarter, defeating the Cougars 3-0. Senior goalie Lydia Cleveland made 21 saves on the day. 

The JV then took the field, having yet another back and forth game, mainly playing between the 25's. Junior Lucy Jackson was able to get a few shots on goal, but the Cougars were unable to find the back of the net. Sophomore goalie Ronia Foecking made 6 saves, allowing just one goal. Merrimack Valley came out on top, 1-0. 

The Cougars take on Souhegan at home on Friday 10/7 at 4:00pm, and will also be celebrating their Senior Day.
