The Cougars took the court tonight in a hot Marauder gymnasium and were able to capture their first set victory on the season 25-22. The Marauders came back strong though in the 2nd and 3rd with set scores of 25-9 and 25-10 respectively in favor of Hanover. The cougars battled the entire 4th set but came up short 25-17. Leading Conval was Lillian James with 6 kills, 3 aces, 5 digs, and 15 successful serve receives. Sophomore setter Hannah LeComte had 7 assists, Molly Cole had a kill and 3 aces, Morgan Stacy had 12 successful serve receives, and Haley Davis added 7 digs.
