The Cougars took the field behind Junior pitcher Kendall Sullivan against Hollis-Brookline tonight. HB scored the first two runs one in the 3rd and the 4th but the Cougars answered back in the 4th scoring 2 of their own to tie the game. Morgan Bemont hit a triple, Mandel got a single, Kendall Sullivan came in with a single to plate Bemont, and Mairin Burgess plated Mandel. In the 5th, the Cougars scored 2 more runs to take the 4-2 lead. Lead-off hitter Samantha Henderson hit a single and stole 2nd before Bemont hit a double scoring Henderson and once again Sullivan was able to get an RBI on Bemont scoring. The 6th was quiet but in the top of the 7th, HB scored 4 runs on a walk, single, and several past balls before Kendall struck out the final 2 players. Conval was able to get a run as Bemont singled, stole second, and scored on a Mandel hit. The cougars took their 2nd loss of the season 5-6.

Bemont led the team going 4-4 with a single, 2 doubles, and a triple, scoring 3 runs and an RBI. Mandel was 2-4 with 2 singles, an RBI, and a run and Kendall Sullivan was 2-4 with 2 singles and 2 RBI. Samantha Henderson also went 2-4 with a pair of singles and a run.
