The CV girl's volleyball team went to St. Thomas. They communicated and worked as one right from the start! The cougars lost the first 2 sets but kept each game close and were able to capture the victory in the 3rd set forcing a fourth but came up short in the end losing 3 sets -1. The set scores were 25-20, 25-17, 25-18 (win), and 25-15.
Leading the Cougars offense were Emma Rodenhiser with 12 aces, 6 kills and 5 blocks, Ivy Armstrong-McEvoy with 3 kills and 6 blocks, and Kendall Sullivan with 2 kills, 7 assists and an ace. Defensively Samantha Henderson had 3 aces, 27 successful serve receives and 18 digs and Aria Laurent had an ace, 6 successful serve receives, 9 digs and 4 assists. Zadie Marshall added 13 successful serve receives and 6 digs!
